Before I start with my makeup, I have to fix some issues with my skin, if it’s one of those days where its unbelievably dehydrated, I would use Liz Earle moisturizer. The second thing I would do is apply Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye cream which is the perfect base for concealer. I have this issue where I feel that every time I apply concealer my under eye area gets darker and darker, and concealer is not something I’m willing to let go of, so I got this product for the purpose of using it as concealer base. However, there is an issue with this product if you start applying your concealer immediately after you applied it, your makeup is going to look greasy and flaky and all kind of things that you don’t want to see, you HAVE to wait at least 15 minutes before starting up with your makeup same goes with moisturizer.
Moving on to the next step, I start by using MAC prep+prime to help increase the lifetime of my makeup. Now with all the fun not colorless stuff, first I would apply concealer on any blemishes or scars and also under my eyes, I recently purchased Chanel correction perfection concealer, I really like it however I still do believe nothing can top up my previous Cargo concealer that I’ve previously mentioned I’m really upset we no longer have it at Sephore, I don’t understand why every time I get hooked on something they shut it down, it seems that I jinx products *sorry producers* .. anyway I fell off subject there, for the perfect foundation I like to mix MAC studio Fix nc25 with Chanel Mat Lumiere 20 on my heart paw palette using MAC 190 brush . If you’re a mac user you would know that sometimes their foundation could get a bit to yellowyy and this is why I love mixing it with a lighter foundation to get the perfect coverage. After I’m done with the foundation I would blend some more using MAC 130SE brush. then to brighten up my eyes I apply a teeny bit of YSL radiant touch in the corner of my eyes. Because I used fake tan on my body my face need to be tanned as well, A spray of Soap & Glory Glow Getter
Afterwards, I use collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer under the peek of my eyebrows. then fill my eyebrows with Bobbi brown eyeshadow in the color Rich brown 11 using Bobbi Brown eyebrow brush. For the eyes, I used urban decay eyeshadow primer potion. The Eye shadows I used were by MAC Nylon and Tempting applied each using Bobbi brown Eyeshadow brush then blended them using MAC 217 brush. Then used my ultimate favorite eyeliner Penultimate eyeliner in Rapidblack & finally applied my new favorite mascara Limited edition MAC Opulash Optimum Black mascara.

It’s finally the “What’s in my bag” blogpost that you guys wanted to see. The reason I did not do one earlier is because I’m the kind of person that would go out with an empty bag. I’m not even exaggerating, I’d literately just go out with a bag that contains absolutely nothing. Not even my phone *because it’s always out of charge*. Nevertheless, there would be those rare moments where I would actually carry tangible items in my bag and today was one of those moments so I thought to myself I should finally do the post!
What’s in my cosmetic bag: Laura Mercier silk creme foundation, MAC 130 brush, Inglot lipstick palette, Giorgio Armani eyes to kill mascara, Maybelline dream lumi touch concealer, Hand Maid by Soap and Glory, A super old Hello kitty mirror that is not even mine *I stole it from my sister* hehe. I had few nail polishes because I have a two hour long break and I thought I’d color my nails. I couldn’t pick what color I wanted at home so I just packed them all: Tomford in Smoke Red. Essie in Hot Coco. Topshop Nails in Big Smoke.
Let me know if you would like to see “What’s in my bag” regularly xo.
Before there were diamonds, before there was de la Renta, chocolate was my best friend. Today I had a crave for glow and I knew exactly how to fulfill it; My camera and little bites of ferrero rocher..
It’s not just my stomach that was doing the craving. It was my face too, it’s pretty simple no beauty sleep no beauty. But, there’s always a but and there’s always a replacement; little magic from YSL concealer (Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat) and Dior ultimate shimmering powder(Rose diamond)..
I had to leave ADR sunnies behind, it’s January not June. Nevertheless, it’s always lovely to look at.
J’adore fragrances by Christan Dior, is not my first choice of a perfume, but I love the smell of it, because it reminded me of my mom’s beauty, when I was little and she’d be getting ready for work looking all glowy and glamorous, her final touches would always be little sprinkles of J’adore and my final step of getting ready is remembering the beauty of her..
It has been a while since I’ve looked back on what used to be my favorite teen brand (Juicy couture) I don’t even remember where I’ve placed the jeweleries that I once used to love. One thing however that has never left my sight is the cupcake necklace that was given to me from a dear friend in high school on one of the nicest birthdays I’ve had, I wear it all the time to restore my teen blaze.
After spending the day with my dad, sister and brother at Greenwich I needed to see my girls, first we had a stop at Selfridges. And what’s a better meeting point than my favorite department store? did a little shopping & then headed for one of the best hot chocolates I’ve ever tasted at thistle hotel (Thanks to Sara & Jwaher who told me about it). Now to be honest with you it’s not the greatest place for a sit down but you can always pick up your to go cup.
The sun started fading as we continued our walk to the knightbridge, where we stopped for Arabic desserts & Coffee.
How I wore my make up:
So many people asked me about my daily makeup and outfits, so I decided to make a frequent blogpost about that. Before getting into makeup let’s talk about “The before”:
1- I start first by applying sunscreen “Remede”
2- Then apply “Beaute Initiale” by Chanel (I only apply this step when my face is dehydrated)
3- Wait a couple of minutes, then apply Tom Ford protective Primer
4- Last is Prep+Prime by MAC, helps your makeup stay longer
After protecting my skin I start applying my makeup.
1- First thing I apply is One Base concealer by “Cargo”
2- Then, Chanel “Mat Lumiere” foundation
3- fill my eye brows with “Rich brown 11” by Bobbi Brown
4- Start applying eyeshadow, this time I chose to use one of my favorite kits that I created by MAC it contains four colors “Kid” “Nylon” “Tempting” “Charcoal brown”
5- Apply eyeliner, I use “RapidBlack” penultimate eyeliner by MAC. Definitely the best eyeliner I’ve used, I’d never change it.
6- First I use eyelashes curler, then apply Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Mascara.
7- Apply bronzing powder by MAC “Refined Golden”
8- And it ends with the application of lipstick, I used “Costa Chic” by MAC
What I wore:
Purse: Chanel ( I kinda stole my mom’s vintage Chanel) :p
Cat Eye Sunglasses: Dior
Necklace: Bijoux Heart
I think all the people that have met me know that my favorite color is black whenever I’m shopping my eyes will always head to the blacks before anything else. Black is the elegance, and when you think elegant you immediately think Coco Chanel who initiated the “Classy & Fabulous” woman. You can tell that black was her favorite color and it was the one she always chose and yet she was and still is the greatest fashion icon.
“I have said that black has it all. it’s beauty is absolute. It is the perfect harmony.” Coco Chanel
I love this dress for two reasons because it’s black of course and because I wore it to one of the best days of my life my “19th birthday” that was spent with the people I LOVE most, and now every time I walk into my closet and see it a breeze of exultant passes me by. I love clothes that can make you relive beautiful days.
Another important piece is the moschino ladybird clutch that I got from my sister for my 14th birthday it was my first clutch ever, do you know the feeling of when you get your first bike and learn how to ride it, this was the same case I was excited and looking forward to learn how to be a lady. Out of all the insects and the bugs in the world that I hate, I’ve always loved the ladybird.
