First I’ll start my morning with a shower using my favorite products: Flake away scrub and Clean on me shower gel by Soap and Glory . I LOVE those two combinations despite the many many scrubs I’ve tried flake away remains my favorite and I keep on repurchasing it over and over again.
I follow by washing my hair with Bumble & Bumble Thickening shampoo which is the best shampoo I have ever purchased. I cannot describe how good this shampoo is and how much it has helped my hair stay on my scalp rather than on the floor. When I first got it I wasn’t so sure about it, I didn’t like the smell it was too boring for me. But after using it for a while I started noticing a real difference and my hair stopped falling out! So I made my entire family convert to that shampoo. This is my third re-purchase of it! I’ve used different shampoos in between but I keep coming back to this one.

After I’m done I like to light on a candle. My current favorite is Rosamundi by Diptyque & Spray my current favorite perfume Peony and Blush Suede by Jo Malone.

I’ve been using The Righteous Butter by Soap & Glory. I love how it sinks into the skin right away so it speeds up the process of getting ready, it does moisturizer and it’s well scented  but it isn’t my favorite body butter and I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing it again. Another item that I got my hand on from soap & glory is the Heels genius which is just a big disappointment I absolutely hate this product, I hate the scent and I see no results in what it supposed to do. I usually apply any body lotion or butter on my feet and put on socks afterwards and vola after few hours my feet would be as soft as velvet so when I saw this the other day at boots I thought why not give it a try! So far hating it, but I’ll keep on using it cuz I usually don’t like products when I first get them( You probably know that by now).

Finishing up with my skincare products, I usually moisturizer in the morning using Kanebo Sensai Silk Emulsion (Light) and then apply my absolute favorite sunscreen Eau Thermale Avène spf 50+ if I’m going out during daytime this step is an absolute must! I used to think that sunscreen isn’t an important step but I was WRONG, now it’s essential. My makeup application varies depending on where I’m going but two thing I will always apply are Dior Lip glow and Dior Addict Lip Maximizer. And if I need my makeup to stay in place till nighttime I apply Beauty Flash Balm by Clarins which basically works as a primer I read somewhere that it isn’t suitable for daily use so I keep it for special occasions or long days.

Don’t forget to Read Alkhaf before you head out. I like to listen to my favorite reader while getting ready Click Here.

Have a blessed Friday  xx

I think that one of the most important elements of a serene bedroom is a beautined up nightstands. So here are some very easy tips that I like to follow for the visual anchor of my room. The easiest way to start up is by getting a vase and a set of flowers whether you like them fake or real, flowers always left up the entire room. I got my vase from Zarahome filled it up with my favorite flower (pink peonies). I always check Zarahome website before hitting the mall, to ensure that what I’m looking for is available instead of coming back home empty handed.

Adding Books is always a good decorating tip, especially fashion books, always beautifully covered. So this would be the second thing I’d have on my table.

Your nightstand has to contain the essential items that you need just before going to sleep, and first thing when you wake up in the morning. How to sum those essentials on your nightstand is pretty easy. All you need is a tray. In my case At night the first thing I need is Baies interior scent, the scent combines A bouquet of roses and blackcurrant leaves, which gives a perfect breeze of a garden feel in my room, so I like to spray a bit of it before I hit the shower. I also like to keep my favorite hand & body cream “PINK wild at heart” and my favorite perfumes in a tiny tray ( Wild bluebell by Jo Malone, Valentina by Valentino, Fresh Musk and Light Musk by Aljazeera). I love Arabian scents from Oud to Musk, my favorite scent for the last month has been Light Musk! You need to give it a sniff if you’re a die hard Arabian scents lover.

EDITED 3 photco 1-3What I keep on my nightstand is very changeable sometimes instead of having a set of perfumes, I might replace them with a candle or a jewellery box where I keep my daily jewellery or the leftovers of yesterday’s party, I got the green one and the mirrored one from Zarahome.

My second nightstand is a combination of stolen tableware from my mom’s kitchen kabord – way to be creative huh?- Starting from a heart-shaped tray from iDesign, containing a Villeroy&Boch glass jar for updated seasonal nailpolish, My favorite Jo Malone summery body cream Blackberry&bay and LSAinternational bowl that could contain girly snacks or daily jewels.

Saturday Night Ritual

I decided to share with you guys my secret of how I beat the Saturday blues. The point when you realize the party’s over and the work week awaits. I used to spend my Saturday pretending tomorrow isn’t happening and misery isn’t coming but then I realized my Saturday night ritual could use a little makeover. I decided to stop spending the night wishing for the weekend to rewind it self and just fill myself with positive and relaxed feelings. What’s the best way to do that? A pamper evening of course.

IMG_0810Surely after becoming a lushi the products I’ll be using for my bath are by lush. This Saturday I started by crumbling “Sunnyside” bubble bar which is perfect for grey days when you wish for a bit of sparkle in your life. After the tub has been filled with bubbly golden water, I dropped the “Phoenix Rising” bath bomb which will leave the tub tinted purple with more golden sparkles.

I’ve used the Sunnyside previously without the bomb and I’ve actually found it more relaxing and calming on its own. I did not love the combination I created although the scents did seem somewhat similar. I have to say I wouldn’t be using Phoenix rising again. When I read the reviews about the sunnyside a lot of people complained about it staining the tub and also their bodies with gold glitter, I did not experience any of that, the tub was a bit goldish, but with a spray of water it was gone and in case of my body it was glowing naturally nothing too sparkly.

IMG_0836You can’t walk into your bath without lighting some candles first. I’ve used English Lavender by Waitrose. I was surprised to have found heavenly scented candles at a grocery store when I was shopping for candy! I absolutely LOVE this candle.

It’s not just my body that needs to lose the tension, it’s my hair too. It needs to lose all the tangling and all the split ends, for that I used “Macadamia Natural Oil Deep repair masque.” I started using this recently and I’m loving it, it smells great and smooths wonderfully.

IMG_0859A brand new week needs a brand new face to get that I exfoliate using Origins Modern Friction. Following it Diorsnow DNA reverse night serum
