Jay’s Wonderland

photo 5

Spent my Saturday night at Jewels’s place. Who is one of my favorite people on this earth. We’ve been friends since high school, she’s one of those people that I keep going back to and even though we don’t speak everyday or meet every week, when we do meet it’s like we have never drifted. She has always been like a sister to me, and as for that I got the pleasure of growing a relationship with her sister (Sarah) as well and got to know what’s behind the extreme outer beauty and found nothing but more beauty. I just loovvee to accompany those two creatures that steam beauty and dreams. That gathering where you feel you can say whatever you want whenever you want, without having to worry about what’s going to come out of your mouth(because we all know our mouths can surprise us sometimes) but with them I’m just certain I won’t be judged or not forgiven.

Because my little jewel has a beautiful taste in interiors & an eye for what the room should contain, I knew I had to carry my camera to her house and share the wonders of her wonderland.

She’s a die hard Disney lover, so that what you would mostly see on her shelf, an addition to souvenirs from all around the world..

The Flower Crown & The Ear Jewel

photo2 2I think we have made enough statements with the necklace. That’s where the statement earrings pop in to make a change. I have mentioned before my amazement of constant changeable taste, as I have never imagined myself falling in love with dripping jewels. However, The van der Woodsens through the last couple of years made some changes to how my brain views things. Eric Daman (the stylist of gossip girl) has indeed introduced me to a new era of art and beauty. Not only are they astonishing, they can transform your day-look to night with one head-turning swoop.

As always with statement jeweleries you don’t have to put so much effort into your clothes you can keep it simple & the ear jewel will work its magic for you. “They’ll boost your confidence,” says Vogue Accessories Editor Amalia Keramitsis. “They’re conversation starters that usually involve a compliment.”

An addition to my Woodsens-influenced obsession, is a recent love for flower crowns. Obviously, I’m a die hard flower lover. From peonies, cornflowers to roses & lilies. So when I have the chance to have them as part of my outfit I will certainly not veto.

These are my favorites (starting from the first picture): all three pieces are by Chanel, Roberto Cavalli Ear cuff, Topshop stars ear cuff, Miu Miu, Impression boutique-not sure what brand got it as a lovely gift-, Mawi, Chanel, Oscar De La Renta, ). Flower crowns: Urban outfitters and Accessorize.

Golden girl

1Before there were diamonds, before there was de la Renta, chocolate was my best friend. Today I had a crave for glow and I knew exactly how to fulfill it; My camera and little bites of ferrero rocher..

It’s not just my stomach that was doing the craving. It was my face too, it’s pretty simple no beauty sleep no beauty. But, there’s always a but and there’s always a replacement; little magic from YSL concealer (Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat) and Dior ultimate shimmering powder(Rose diamond)..

I had to leave ADR sunnies behind, it’s January not June. Nevertheless, it’s always lovely to look at.

4J’adore fragrances by Christan Dior, is not my first choice of a perfume, but I love the smell of it, because it reminded me of my mom’s beauty, when I was little and she’d be getting ready for work looking all glowy and glamorous, her final touches would always be little sprinkles of J’adore and my final step of getting ready is remembering the beauty of her..

new1My first choice of a perfume though would be Jasmin Rouge by Tom Ford, I will never get over the beauty of the scent -absolute stunner-.

It has been a while since I’ve looked back on what used to be my favorite teen brand (Juicy couture) I don’t even remember where I’ve placed the jeweleries that I once used to love. One thing however that has never left my sight is the cupcake necklace that was given to me from a dear friend in high school on one of the nicest birthdays I’ve had, I wear it all the time to restore my teen blaze.
